WISEPIM Catalog structure overview with a Get setup suggestions button, a Start here card about variant groups that need options, and cards for product families, categories, product fields and variant groups WISEPIM Catalog structure overview with a Get setup suggestions button, a Start here card about variant groups that need options, and cards for product families, categories, product fields and variant groups Catalog structure is the workspace for the shape of your catalog: which product families you have, which categories products sit in, which fields they store, and which products are variants of one another. It shows where the gaps are, suggests a setup based on your own products, and keeps a history of every structure change so you can undo it. What this page enables: you can spot products without a family or category in seconds, let WISEPIM propose families, fields, categories and variant groups for a group of products, apply only the changes you want, and take them back later. Where to find it: in the Experimental interface, choose Catalog > Catalog setup > Catalog structure. In the Stable interface, open Settings > Attribute scope: it has the same tabs. You can also open the command menu (Ctrl/⌘ K) and type Catalog structure.
The Catalog structure menu branch only shows in the Experimental interface. Switch under Interface version in Appearance Settings, or from the command menu with Switch to Experimental. The setting is saved per browser. In the Experimental menu, the branch holds Product Categories, Product families, Product fields and Option sets; use Show catalog structure pages to expand it.
The workspace has four tabs:

Overview

The top of the page has Get setup suggestions, which opens Guided setup.

Start here

WISEPIM checks your saved structure and puts the most useful next step on top. Depending on what it finds, you see: More findings sit under Other things to check, such as empty families, unused fields or categories without a default family. When nothing is missing, the card says Next, check your sales channels.

Manage your setup

Four cards link to each part of your structure, each with its count and its gaps: Your saved catalog shows how many products the project has and what Fields defined by is set to: Families, Categories or Families and categories.
These counts describe your saved structure. They don’t measure whether a channel accepts your products or how complete the product data is. For that, use Quality Guard.

Guided setup

Guided setup looks at a group of products you pick and suggests families, fields, categories and variant groups for them. It runs on fixed rules, not AI, so it is free. The page says No credits needed.

Done

WISEPIM confirms “The reviewed changes were applied.” Under More things you can do you can View products, Check channel requirements or Review missing fields.Changed your mind? Check undo options shows what can still be undone, and Undo eligible changes restores it. Undo works while the saved changes are unchanged and still kept; later edits or published variant groups can block it.
You can select up to 500 products per guided setup. It uses no credits.
Guided setup never deletes anything. It doesn’t create missing variant products either: it only groups the products you already have.

From onboarding

WISEPIM guided setup opened from onboarding, with a Back link and the Choose products step WISEPIM guided setup opened from onboarding, with a Back link and the Choose products step When your first onboarding fix changed products, the onboarding result page offers a card Organize your products: “Choose a few products, review the suggestions and apply only the changes you want.” Click Choose products to open the same guided setup, with a Back link instead of the workspace tabs. It doesn’t affect whether onboarding counts as complete.

Change history

WISEPIM Change history with an applied structure change, its recorded before and after state for the Size attribute, the undo deadline and an Undo this change button WISEPIM Change history with an applied structure change, its recorded before and after state for the Size attribute, the undo deadline and an Undo this change button Change history lists every recorded change to your families, categories and attributes: “See what changed and check whether it can be undone. Later edits are kept.” Click Refresh history for the latest, and Newer changes or Older changes to page through. Each entry shows when it happened, how many structure changes it holds and where it came from: Manual edit, Guided setup, Catalog structure or Other source. Its status is Applied, Restored or Partially restored. Click Show details to see the recorded before and after state of each change, for example “Required: No” before and “Yes” after, and how many products it affected.

Undo a change

1

Open the details

Click Show details on the entry. The line Undo available until shows the deadline.
2

Undo

Click Undo this change, then confirm Undo this structure change?.
3

Check the outcome

WISEPIM checks the current values again before restoring. Newer edits are kept and reported as conflicts, so the result can be a partial restore.
Undo is refused when, for example, the undo window has expired, a product was edited after the change, the object no longer exists, or other records now depend on an object the change created.

Family runs

WISEPIM Change history for one run with an Undo recorded changes from this run card, the undo deadline, the plan's retention period and an Undo this run button WISEPIM Change history for one run with an Undo recorded changes from this run card, the undo deadline, the plan's retention period and an Undo this run button When you assign a family to many products at once, through Bulk edit > Assign product family on the Products page or Assign family to these products under category default families in Attribute Scope Settings, the work is recorded as one run. The result message links to it with Review change history. The run view opens on Undo recorded changes from this run. Click Undo this run to take back the whole assignment.
“Only recorded catalog changes can be restored. This does not reverse exports or changes already sent to a shop.”

How long undo is available

Undo is available on every plan. How long depends on your plan: from 1 day on the free plan up to 90 days on Enterprise. The run view says it exactly, for example “Undo history is kept for 30 days on your plan.”, and every entry shows its own Undo available until date. Expired history is cleaned up automatically.

Act on what you find

If your shop works mainly with categories, you may not need families: set Use attributes from to Categories in Attribute Scope Settings. Otherwise run Guided setup with Only products without a family ticked, or select products and use Bulk edit > Assign product family.
Click Choose variant options on the Start here card, or open a parent product and set its options on the Relations tab. See Product Variants.
Go to Change history, open the entry from Guided setup and undo it. Changes you made by hand afterwards are kept.
