Overview
The General settings page lets you define foundational information about your project. These details influence how AI generates and translates your product content, so it is important to keep them accurate.You must select a project from the project switcher before you can edit General settings.
Project Details
Set the basic identity for your project.Project Name
Enter a descriptive name for your project. This name appears in the project switcher and throughout the interface.
Target Keywords
Target keywords are SEO terms that WISEPIM incorporates into AI-generated product content when they are relevant. This helps your product descriptions rank better in search engines without sounding forced. Enter a comma-separated list of keywords, for example:Primary Industry
Your primary industry helps the AI produce more accurate, domain-specific content and translations. Select the industry that best matches your product catalog from the dropdown. Available industries include categories such as fashion, electronics, food and beverage, health and beauty, and more.Changing the industry does not retroactively update existing product content. It only affects future AI-generated content.
Primary Language
The primary language is the source language for all product content. AI generation and translations start from this language.Select Your Primary Language
Search for and select your main language from the autocomplete dropdown. Each language is shown with its country flag for easy identification.
Additional Languages
After you set a primary language, you can add as many additional languages as you need. WISEPIM translates your product content from the primary language into each of these.- Add a language: Use the autocomplete field to search and select languages.
- Remove a language: Click the close icon on any language chip to remove it.
Saving Changes
When you modify any setting on this page, a save bar appears at the bottom. You have two options:- Save — Persists your changes to the backend immediately.
- Undo — Reverts all fields back to the last saved state.
