Set fixed prices per unit at different quantity levels. For example, 8.99 each for 10-24 units, and $7.99 each for 25+ units.
Bulk Discount
Apply percentage or fixed-amount discounts based on quantity. For example, 10% off for 10-24 units, 15% off for 25-49 units, and 20% off for 50+ units.
Buy X Get Y
Offer free products when customers buy in multiples. For example, buy 2 get 1 free.

Pricing Tiers
Pricing tiers are the core of volume discounts. Each tier defines a quantity range and the discount or price that applies within that range.Example: Bulk Percentage Discount
| Quantity Range | Discount |
|---|---|
| 10 - 24 units | 10% off |
| 25 - 49 units | 15% off |
| 50+ units | 20% off |
Example: Fixed Tier Pricing
| Quantity Range | Unit Price |
|---|---|
| 1 - 9 units | $9.99 |
| 10 - 24 units | $8.99 |
| 25+ units | $7.99 |
Discount Methods
Each tier can use a different discount method:- Percentage Off — A percentage reduction from the original price
- Fixed Discount — A fixed amount subtracted from the original price
- Fixed Price — A specific unit price that replaces the original price
- Price Per Unit — A set price per unit regardless of original pricing

Platform-specific settings can be configured for each discount to ensure compatibility. Each discount can have platform mappings that control how it appears on each connected store.
Plan Limits
The number of volume discounts and customer groups you can create depends on your plan:| Plan | Volume Discounts | Customer Groups |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Up to 5 | Up to 3 |
| Pro | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Enterprise | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Best Practices
Set clear priorities
When multiple discounts could apply to the same product, use the priority setting to control which one wins. Higher priority discounts take precedence.
Test with a small scope first
Apply a new discount to a single product or category first. Verify the pricing is correct before expanding the scope.
Use customer groups for B2B
Create dedicated customer groups for wholesale and B2B buyers. Assign volume discounts specifically to these groups to avoid showing wholesale pricing to retail customers.
Schedule in advance
Set up seasonal and promotional discounts ahead of time with start and end dates. This eliminates the risk of forgetting to activate or deactivate a promotion.
Troubleshooting
Discount is not applying
- Check that the discount is active and not just scheduled for a future date.
- Verify the scope matches the product or category you expect.
- Make sure the Apply To setting includes the correct customer group or “all customers.”
- If a coupon code is required, confirm the customer is entering it correctly.
Wrong price is showing
- Check for conflicting discounts with overlapping scopes. The discount with the highest priority value takes precedence.
- If Combine with Others is enabled, multiple discounts may be stacking. Disable this setting if discounts should not combine.
- Verify the calculation method is correct (replace price vs. discount on price).
Customer group pricing is not syncing
- Ensure the customer group has a platform mapping configured for the target platform.
- Check that the platform integration is connected and active in Settings > Integrations.
- Review the sync status in the customer group details for any error messages.
