# Data & Privacy Settings

> Stay in control of your data. Turn analytics on or off, export everything WISEPIM holds about you, or permanently delete your account.

Data & Privacy settings put you in charge of your own data. Choose what you share, download a full copy of your data, and delete your account when you want to leave.

## Turn analytics on or off

WISEPIM collects anonymous usage data to improve the platform. You can opt out whenever you like.

Find the **Usage analytics** toggle and switch it off to stop sharing this data.

  Switching analytics off stops new data collection right away. It does not remove data collected before then.

## Export your personal data

Download a complete copy of everything WISEPIM holds about you. Use it as a personal backup or to meet a data portability request.

  <Step title="Open Data & Privacy">
    Go to **Settings > Data & Privacy**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Export">
    In the **Export personal data** section, click **Export**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check your inbox">
    WISEPIM prepares your file and emails a download link to your registered address.
  </Step>

<Tip>
  Your export includes your profile information, project data, and activity history.
</Tip>

## Delete your account

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will find it in the **Danger Zone** at the bottom of the page.

<Warning>
  Deleting your account removes your account, all your projects, and all related data for good. Export your data first if you want a copy.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Click Delete">
    In the Danger Zone, click **Delete**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    A confirmation window opens. Type **DELETE** in capitals to confirm.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Finish">
    Click **Delete my account**. You will get a confirmation email.
  </Step>

## Your GDPR rights

WISEPIM supports your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

| Your right  | How to use it                                          |
| ----------- | ------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Access**  | Export your data to download everything held about you |
| **Erasure** | Delete your account to remove your data for good       |
| **Object**  | Turn off usage analytics to stop data collection       |
