# bol.com Integration

> Connect bol.com to WISEPIM with Retailer API client credentials. Send price, stock and product content per EAN. Export only, in beta.

Connect your bol.com seller account to WISEPIM to push offers and product content to the marketplace from the catalog you already maintain. WISEPIM sets the price and stock of each offer by EAN and uploads the title, description, brand and main image.

The connector is in beta and works in one direction only: WISEPIM sends to bol.com, it never imports products from it.

**What this page enables:** publishing enriched products on bol.com without retyping them in the Seller Dashboard, with new offers kept on hold until you have checked them.

**Where to find it:** **Settings** > **Integrations**, then the **bol.com** tile.

> [!NOTE]
>
> You need a bol.com retailer account with access to the Seller Dashboard and a WISEPIM project whose products carry an EAN. The connection uses OAuth client credentials, so there is no store URL to enter.

## Create client credentials in the bol Seller Dashboard

**1. Open the API settings**

Log in to the bol Seller Dashboard. Go to **Instellingen**, then **Diensten**, then **API instellingen**.

**2. Save a technical contact**

bol asks for a technical contact before it issues credentials. Fill it in if you have not already.

**3. Create the credentials**

Under **Client credentials voor de Retailer API**, choose **Aanmaken**. bol shows a **Client ID** and a **Client secret**.

**4. Copy both values**

Copy them now. WISEPIM stores both encrypted and never shows them again, so keep your own copy somewhere safe.

## Add your credentials to WISEPIM

**1. Open Integrations**

Log in to WISEPIM and go to **Settings** > **Integrations**.

**2. Select bol.com**

Find and click the **bol.com** tile. It carries a **Beta** chip.

**3. Fill in the connection**

* **Profile Label**: a name for this connection, such as "bol NL".
* **Client ID** and **Client secret**: the values from the Seller Dashboard.
* **Send price and stock (offers)**: on by default. Switch off to leave your offers alone.
* **Send product content (title, description, brand, main image)**: on by default.
* **Put offers up for sale (off keeps them on hold)**: off by default. See below before you turn it on.
* **Auto-create products on export**: create a bol offer for an EAN that has none on your account yet. Leave it off to update existing offers only.
* **Content language**: `nl` shows in the Netherlands and Flanders. Also `nl-BE`, `fr` or `fr-BE`.
* **Primary locale for export**: which project language WISEPIM reads the content from. Empty uses the project's primary language.

**4. Set the offer defaults**

These apply to offers WISEPIM creates, see [Offer settings](#offer-settings) below.

**5. Test the connection**

Click **Test Integration** to confirm bol accepts the credentials.

**6. Save**

If the test succeeds, click **Save**.

> [!TIP]
>
> Your bol.com account is connected. Select products and export them to bol.com like any other channel.

> [!WARNING]
>
> The client secret gives write access to your bol offers. Never share it publicly or commit it to version control. If you think it is exposed, delete the credentials in the Seller Dashboard and create new ones.

## What an export does

Every export runs two steps per product. Switch either one off in the connection when you only need the other.

| Step | What WISEPIM sends | How bol matches it |
| - | - | - |
| **Offers** | Price, stock and the on-hold state. The price is the selling price after pricing rules, including VAT: the special price when one is active, otherwise the regular price. | By EAN. The offer id bol returns is stored on the product for the next run. |
| **Content** | Title, description, brand and the main image | By EAN, as product content in the **Content language** you chose. |

A few rules worth knowing:

* **An EAN is required.** A product without an EAN, or with a wrong check digit, is rejected before WISEPIM calls bol. EAN-8 and UPC codes are padded to 13 digits, as bol asks.
* **New offers stay on hold.** With **Put offers up for sale** off, every offer WISEPIM creates or updates is kept on hold, so nothing sells before you have checked it in the Seller Dashboard. Turn the switch on and every export puts the offers up for sale.
* **A new offer only appears with auto-create on.** Without it, an EAN that has no offer on your account yet is skipped.
* **Condition is always new.** Secondhand and refurbished offers are not part of this connector.
* **Descriptions are reduced to bol's allowed tags.** Paragraphs, line breaks, bold, `h3` headings and lists survive; other HTML is removed.
* **FAQs are off by default.** The FAQ format for bol.com starts at **Off** under **Settings** > **FAQs**, so the description carries product text only.
* **Content is accepted, then processed.** bol checks uploaded content on its own side. A product that bol has not finished processing reports as accepted, and the next export checks on it instead of uploading again.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Order ingestion for bol.com, used by [Analytics](https://docs.wisepim.com/en/analytics/overview.md), is a separate capability from this export connector. The export connection does not read orders, and the order feed does not change your offers.

## Offer settings

The lower half of the connection holds the values bol needs for your offers. Fulfilment, delivery and the countries are sent when WISEPIM creates an offer. The stock setting and the economic operator are sent on every export. The form checks each value when you save, so a value bol would reject is caught before the export.

| Field | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Fulfilment** | `FBR`: you ship the orders. `FBB`: bol ships them and manages the stock. |
| **Delivery schedule (FBR)** | `BOL_DELIVERY_PROMISE`, `MY_DELIVERY_PROMISE` or `SHIPPING_VIA_BOL`. |
| **Delivery promise in days** | `0-1`, `1-2`, `2-3`, `3-5`, `4-8` or `1-8`. `0-1` needs a latest order time. |
| **Latest order time for next-day delivery** | A whole hour between `12:00` and `23:00`, for example `22:00`. Required for the `0-1` promise. |
| **Delivery promise profile ID** | Only for **My delivery promise**. Paste the id exactly as bol shows it. |
| **I correct stock for open orders myself** | Off by default. Off means bol subtracts open orders from the stock you send, which prevents overselling. |
| **Sell new offers in** | `NL`, `BE` or `NL_BE`. Leave empty to use your bol account default. |
| **Economic operator ID** | bol keeps offers offline until an economic operator is linked. |

## Not in this version

The beta covers offers and product content. These are not part of it yet:

* Importing products or offers from bol.com into WISEPIM
* Reading orders through this connection (see the note above)
* Returns and FBB inbound shipments
* Secondhand or refurbished offers
* Bundle prices: each offer gets one unit price
* Images beyond the main image
* Deleting an offer from WISEPIM

## Act on what you find

> **A product failed with an EAN error**
>
> Open the product and check its EAN: it must be present and pass the check digit test. Fix it, then export again. Products without a GTIN cannot be listed on bol.

> **The offer exists in bol but is not for sale**
>
> That is the default. Open the offer in the Seller Dashboard to check it, then either take it off hold there or turn on **Put offers up for sale** in the connection and export again.

> **Nothing was created for a new EAN**
>
> **Auto-create products on export** is off, so WISEPIM only updates offers that already exist. Turn it on and export again.

> **The content looks accepted but has not changed on bol**
>
> bol processes content uploads on its own side, which can take a while. The next export checks the pending upload instead of sending it again. If the content never lands, check the product in the Seller Dashboard for a rejection reason.

> **Saving the connection fails on an offer setting**
>
> The form names the field. A `0-1` delivery promise needs a latest order time, and the profile and economic operator ids must be pasted exactly as bol shows them.
