# Today

> Start your day with yesterday per store, the setup steps still open, and the handful of things that need you, then jump straight to the right report.

Today is the daily landing page for order analytics. It shows yesterday's orders for every store, what still needs setting up, and up to five things that need you right now. Each item links to the report where you deal with it.

**What this page enables:** one glance in the morning instead of opening six reports. You see which store moved, what is blocked, what ran out and which connection went quiet, and you go there in one click.

**Where to find it:** open **Analytics** and click **Today** at the top of the sidebar, right under **Analytics hub**.

> [!NOTE]
>
> You need at least one connected store with imported orders. Before that, the page shows **Connect a store and we'll show your orders here.** While the first import runs, it shows **We're importing your orders.** with a running count per store.

## Yesterday per store

![The Today page with one tile per store for the last complete day, the setup checklist and the Needs you today list](https://mintcdn.com/swiftsyncai/e5lHCbnPIlrrYMyG/images/marketing-screenshots/analytics/analytics-today-light-branded.webp?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=e5lHCbnPIlrrYMyG\&q=85\&s=f97aee4b0448cae241b2f24427264501)

The first section is titled **Last complete UTC day** with the date. Each store gets a tile with its order total in the store's own currency, the number of orders, a sparkline and a delta **vs `{weekday}` last week (UTC calendar)**. With more than four stores, the rest fold behind **+N more stores**.

Two rules apply to these tiles:

* The day is picked on the UTC calendar, but the totals use days in your analytics timezone. The note under the heading spells it out: **Date selected by the UTC calendar. Totals use `{timezone}` days.**
* Money stays in each store's currency. Nothing is added up across stores, and nothing is converted here.

bol stores show order counts only, with the mark **No amounts from bol**. bol sends order lines but no confirmed order total or currency, so bol orders stay out of money totals everywhere in order analytics.

> [!NOTE]
>
> The comparison with last week only shows when both days are closed and their history is confirmed. If a store's history for one of those days is not confirmed, the tile shows a reason instead of a number. Nothing here is ever shown as zero when it is really unknown.

## Finish setting up order analytics

Until every step is done, a checklist card sits under the store tiles with a counter such as **3 of 6 done**. Each step says why it matters and offers a button.

| Step | Why it matters | Button |
| - | - | - |
| **Confirm reporting basics** | "Your timezone sets where a day starts. Without currencies we can't show margin." | **Use recommended** or **Customize** |
| **Orders imported** | Shows how many of your stores have synced | **Open Data health** |
| **Add product costs** | Products sold with no recorded cost keep margin unknown | **Import purchase prices** or **Add cost prices** |
| **Exchange rates for `{currency}`** | Order days in a foreign currency need a rate before they can be converted | **Add rates** |
| **Match order lines to products** | Order lines that are not linked to a product are left out of product reports | **Review** |
| **Import payment and carrier fees** (marked **Optional**) | "Fees turn margin after product costs into margin after selling costs." | **Import fees** |

Click **Hide for now** to tuck the card away. It comes back while steps are still open.

> [!TIP]
>
> Do the first step before anything else. Timezone and currencies decide where an order day starts and which stores can be added up, and every other report inherits that choice.

## Needs you today

This section lists at most five cards, with **See all in Needs attention** to open the full feed. The cards come from your alert decisions, the fix queue, stock-outs, refund outliers, weekly movers, targets and stores that have gone quiet. Each one is a sentence plus a button:

| What you might see | Button | Where it takes you |
| - | - | - |
| **12 blocked products sold in the last 30 complete days (48 orders).** | **Fix them** | [Fix queue](https://docs.wisepim.com/en/analytics/fix-queue.md), sorted so the products that sell come first |
| **Noordkust NL: product sales +18% vs the week before, on 140 orders.** | **See what moved** | The Movers view in [Orders](https://docs.wisepim.com/en/analytics/orders.md) |
| **Linen shirt is out of stock. It sold 31 in the 28 days before.** | **Plan reorder** | [Reorder Planning](https://docs.wisepim.com/en/analytics/reorder-planning.md) |
| **Linen shirt: 6 of 20 orders refunded (30%). Your store averages 4%.** | **See refunds** | The Returns view in [Orders](https://docs.wisepim.com/en/analytics/orders.md) |
| **Noordkust NL hasn't sent new orders since Monday.** | **Check the connection** | [Data health](https://docs.wisepim.com/en/analytics/data-health.md) |
| **October target is behind pace by 2,400.** | **Open target** | [Targets](https://docs.wisepim.com/en/analytics/targets.md) |

When there is nothing to do, the section says **Nothing needs you right now.** and **We check again after the next import.**

## Jump to

Six tiles link to the main order reports, each named after the question it answers:

* **Every order, by store** opens [Orders](https://docs.wisepim.com/en/analytics/orders.md).
* **Stores, products, promotions and returns** opens the Orders report views.
* **What you keep after costs** opens [Margin](https://docs.wisepim.com/en/analytics/margin.md).
* **Who comes back** opens [Customer Insights](https://docs.wisepim.com/en/analytics/customer-insights.md).
* **What runs out first** opens [Reorder Planning](https://docs.wisepim.com/en/analytics/reorder-planning.md).
* **Catalog problems on products that sell** opens [Fix queue](https://docs.wisepim.com/en/analytics/fix-queue.md).

Under the tiles, **Catalog completeness `{score}`/100** with **Improve completeness** links to [Data Quality Analytics](https://docs.wisepim.com/en/analytics/data-quality.md).

## About the old reports

A collapsed section at the bottom explains what happened to the retired pages: "Revenue, Gross margin, Returns and Channels were retired. Their numbers had no reviewed definition of sales, costs and currency. Everything they showed now lives in Orders and Margin." See [How Order Numbers Work](https://docs.wisepim.com/en/analytics/how-order-numbers-work.md) for what changed in the numbers themselves.

## Act on what you find

> **A store tile shows a count but no amount**
>
> If the store is bol, that is expected: bol does not send order totals, so you see **No amounts from bol**. For any other platform, open the order list in [Orders](https://docs.wisepim.com/en/analytics/orders.md) and check the **Amount source** on a few orders. Orders that arrived without a total or without a confirmed currency are kept out of money totals rather than counted as zero.

> **The delta against last week is missing**
>
> The comparison needs both days to be complete with confirmed history. A store that synced late, or a day with a gap in the import, shows a reason instead. Open [Data health](https://docs.wisepim.com/en/analytics/data-health.md) from the setup card to see which days are not confirmed.

> **The setup card keeps coming back after you hid it**
>
> **Hide for now** only hides it for a while. It returns as long as steps are open. Finish the steps, or leave only the optional fee import open, and the card goes away on its own.

> **A store hasn't sent new orders for days**
>
> Click **Check the connection**. The Connections tab under [Data health](https://docs.wisepim.com/en/analytics/data-health.md) shows the last sync, the last successful import and whether the connection still tests OK. Fix the connection first; the orders catch up on the next import.
